SAFETY & RECRUITING COORDINATOR

| K&S Carriers & Logistics K&S Carriers runs OTR, regional, and local trucking routes across North America. As we grow our fleet, we need someone who can do two things exceptionally well: find great drivers and keep them safe on the road. This is a dual-function role that sits at the heart of our operation. You'll support the full recruiting cycle and help drive our safety and compliance program — working closely with dispatch, operations, and leadership to build a driver team we're proud of.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Manage the full driver recruiting cycle — sourcing, screening, onboarding, and orientation Maintain

DOT/FMCSA

compliance across all driver files, drug & alcohol programs, and HOS policies Monitor CSA/SMS scores and support corrective action plans to stay ahead of violations Assist with accident investigations, driver coaching, and ongoing safety training Build a proactive driver pipeline to support fleet growth and minimize open seats Serve as a go-to resource for compliance questions across the organization

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience in driver recruiting, fleet safety, or a related area — or comparable education — and a genuine willingness to learn and grow in the role Trucking industry exposure is a strong asset Working knowledge of (or eagerness to learn) FMCSA, DOT, and OSHA regulations Familiarity with recruiting platforms (Tenstreet, DriverReach, Indeed) and ELD/telematics systems is a plus A natural relationship-builder who earns trust with drivers and leadership alike Organized and self-directed — you manage competing priorities without needing to be micromanaged CDS or NATMI certification is a plus; CDL-A is a plus
