Position Summary The Director of Human Resources & Administration provides leadership for Workforce Connections' human resources, administrative operations, and organizational support services. This position oversees human resource administration, employee relations, payroll and benefits, policy implementation, financial oversight, and administrative systems while partnering with the Executive Director and Director of Operations to strengthen organizational effectiveness, support employees, and advance WCI's mission.

Assigned WCI work location or approved work arrangement. Regular travel throughout the region may be required.
Compensation:
$74,872-$82,472 annually, depending on qualifications and experience and in accordance with WCI's Board-approved Pay Plan.

Eligibility requirements apply. Primary Responsibilities Provide leadership for Workforce Connections' human resources, payroll, employee benefits, personnel policies, and administrative operations. Supervise and support the Finance Coordinator and Administrative Coordinator while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team. Ensure compliance with employment laws, organizational policies, grant requirements, financial controls, and regulatory standards. Oversee onboarding, employee relations, performance management, organizational policies, and human resource systems. Partner with the Executive Director and Director of Operations on organizational planning, budgeting, strategic initiatives, and continuous improvement. Coordinate audits, monitoring activities, financial oversight, and administrative systems that support organizational success. Perform other duties consistent with the responsibilities of the position. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, accounting, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. Three to five years of progressively responsible leadership experience in human resources, administration, nonprofit or government operations, or a related field preferred. Knowledge & Skills Strong leadership, communication, organizational, analytical, and relationship-building skills. Ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, interpret policies, and solve complex organizational challenges. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and build positive working relationships. Technology Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and the ability to learn agency financial, payroll, and human resource information systems. Other Requirements SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or comparable professional certification preferred.
