Job Summary:
Attends training, and completes required testing to learn the competencies and gain the certification needed to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Training will include attending classes and clinicals at a non-Froedtert training facility, followed by registration and completion of State of Wisconsin certification as a CNA.

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
Good interpersonal skills to interact positively and effectively with patients, visitors and hospital personnel. Sound communication and writing skills. Math skills to perform simple arithmetic calculations. Observational and analytical skills to identify patient changes/problems to prioritize and react appropriately. Familiarity with PCs and other computerized patient care tools, or demonstrated ability to learn.

LICENSURE REQUIRED
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
