Job Description

SUMMARY This position impacts the organization by administering and communicating HR policies, procedures and programs in several of the following areas: employment, employee relations, safety, reporting and record keeping, training etc. In addition, the HR Supervisor may lead basic training programs and orientation seminars. This position may also assist in investigations and conduct research based on information requests from managers. The HR Supervisor must work collaboratively with other members of the HR Team and Production Management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Supervises the day-to-day administration of personnel policies and practices Oversees and assigns employee training and orientation programs Oversees the administration of compensations and benefits programs at the location to ensure these programs are in line with corporate programs Recommends program changes or enhancements to meet human resource requirements Coordinates the delivery of employee relations programs Assists with the preparation of separation notices for employees separating with cause and may conduct exit interviews to determine reason behind separations Prepares reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover May represent company at personnel-related hearings and investigations Process various, applications, employment forms, change forms and other confidential forms and records. Other duties as required by management and supervisor

ABILITIES
Bachelor's degree in a related field or additional related work experience will be considered in lieu of the education requirement 3-5 years previous Human Resources experience Previous supervisory experience preferred In-depth working knowledge of Employment Laws/Regulations and Human Resources policies and procedures Considerable skill in problem solving, conflict resolution, and dealing with confidential information/situations Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written Good computer skills including competency in Outlook, Microsoft Excel and Word Software Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred

$45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
