Job Description

Human Resources Director
JOB DESCRIPTION
Implement and maintain systems to operate the Human Resources office in an effective, efficient manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Background in Human Resources preferred.
  • No less than one year of Human Resources or Business Office Management experience.
Experience with ADP System a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB
  • Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, grasping, pushing/pulling, fine hand coordination, ability to understand and follow written/oral instructions and directions; ability to communicate with residents, families, outside agencies and consultants, and the ability to remain calm under stress.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment process Orientating new employees and training existing employees Monitoring employee performance and assisting with disciplinary actions Developing and implementing human resources policies and procedures Administering HR policies, compensation, and benefits Ensuring that all employees are organized, satisfied, and safe in their work environment Keeping track of employee information and maintaining employee records Ensuring compliance with labor laws and employment standards
  • Ensure that all New Hire paperwork is completely timely.
  • Ensure that all Personnel Licenses, required health tests, and background checks are current and on file.
  • Answer basic insurance questions, including Workman's Compensation.
  • Maintain group health insurance records. Maintain the facility insurance program, including Disability and Health Insurance as required and directed.
  • Travel to occasional meetings, conventions, and seminars.
  • Ensure Employment paperwork is submitted timely for Unemployment Claims.
  • Complete assignments timely, completely, and accurately.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information.
  • Observe all facility safety policies and procedures, infection control procedures, and other applicable policies and procedures.
  • Read and become familiar with the Emergency Management Plan.

Additional tasks/duties may be assigned as needed. The scope of this position may change as necessitated by Business demands.
Pay:
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
