Yes No Key Responsibilities Maintains effective partnerships with HR leaders and department leaders and their teams. Provides administrative support to the Senior Director of HR; Manager, Employee Relations; and HR Business Partners. Works with HR Business Partners to advise managers on the corrective action process, highlighting the legal requirements and ramifications; provides support and reporting on HR metrics and trends. Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs; advises employees of benefits programs; assists HR Business Partners with management and employee relations through uniform application of policies and procedures. Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting the HR function; ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and reporting; serves as resource to staff and management regarding resolution of work-related issues through internal issue resolution process, or through a formal focus group. Responsible for assisting HR Business Partners with management of unemployment claims; may represent Human Resources in unemployment hearings; provides support for ADA accommodations and related processes; works with HR Business Partners to ensure that employee and management needs are met, including assisting in investigations, participating in teams, processes terminations in HRIS system in accordance with established processes, and other duties as needed. Assists with the development and presentation of training material for internal and/or external Business Partners, as needed. Performs other duties as assigned to support overall effectiveness of department and organization.
Qualifications Education:
Associate degree in human resources, business administration, healthcare administration, or related fields.
Experience:
Two (2) years of experience in Human Resources in lieu of degree.

N/A Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent customer service skills; ability to remain calm and courteous during telephone or face-to-face contact during difficult situations Skill in accurate data entry; fluency with Microsoft Office Suite and database applications Ability to take direction; a bility to organize and prioritize work assignments with keen attention to detail Ability to work independently; ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all circumstances Ability to work within established deadlines and in pressure situations Working knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations, as well as hospital policies and procedures Planning and organizational skills, along with a high level of initiative Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, while ensuring quality Strong knowledge and experience with a wide variety of HR concepts, practices, and procedures Exceptional problem solving skills and the ability to work autonomously to accomplish goals.
