Plan, organize, lead and control Company employee relations, compensation, learning and development, employee benefits, organization and recruitment planning and development, EEO, health, safety and environmental activities which support the Company's business plan and objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining personnel policies and regulations subject to applicable laws and regulations Establishes departmental measurements that support the accomplishment of the Company's strategic direction/goals; while preparing periodic reports for executive management to track strategic goal accomplishment Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction Implements human resources strategies by establishing departmental accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance Responsible for the preparation and delivery of AAP Manages human resources operations by recruiting , selecting, orientating, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions; maintaining compensation; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change Develops human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends and vacancies; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact variances
Job Specifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management or equivalent; advanced degree desirable
Years' Experience:
Minimum 7-10 years Human Resources experience including five (5) years of successfully managing a Human Resources department; preferably in a technical manufacturing environment
Skills:
Employment laws and regulations as it pertains to the state of California An extensive knowledge of strategic goal setting, change management and budget management Strong leadership and effective interpersonal skills and effective delegation skills required Familiarity with Operational Excellence and Quality Improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Gemba and Kaizen principles Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations Ability to identify and resolve technical, operational and organizational problems Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database management tools
