Key Responsibilities:

Lead recruitment and onboarding; manage employee relations and workplace investigations; oversee performance management and corrective action; administer compensation and pay changes; coordinate benefits, leave, payroll changes, and training compliance; maintain personnel records; and support compliance with California employment requirements.

Qualifications:

5+ years progressive HR experience 2+ years HR leadership experience Bachelor's degree or substantial equivalent HR experience Strong knowledge of California employment practices Excellent communication, documentation, and employee-relations skills.

Preferred:

SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR/PHRca Healthcare, behavioral health, developmental services, or social-services experience Multi-location HR experience.

Compensation:

$72,000-$105,000 annually , plus PTO, paid holidays, wellness leave, health benefits, professional development, and retention incentives.

Schedule:

Full-Time | Primarily Monday-Friday | Multi-site organizational support. U.N.I is looking for an HR leader who can build strong systems, support employees, hold teams accountable, and help a rapidly growing organization maintain a stable and high-quality workforce.
