Job Description

A growing life sciences company in San Marcos is looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to join its HR team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the people side of business but wants exposure to several areas of HR rather than being limited to one function. You'll support employees throughout the employee lifecycle while partnering with HR leadership on onboarding, recruiting, employee communications, HRIS administration, and company culture initiatives. What you'll be doing
+ Coordinate new-hire onboarding and employee transitions
+ Maintain accurate employee information in the HRIS
+ Assist with recruiting coordination and interview scheduling
+ Prepare offer and onboarding documentation
+ Support employee engagement activities
+ Assist with benefits and employee questions
+ Maintain confidential personnel records
+ Track required employee documentation
+ Prepare HR reports and spreadsheets
+ Assist with company communications
+ Coordinate employee events and recognition programs
+ Support HR projects and process improvements
+ Partner with Payroll on employee changes and timekeeping questions Requirements + 2+ years of HR, recruiting coordination, or people operations experience
+ Strong Microsoft Office skills
+ Experience with an HRIS preferred
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Highly organized and detail-oriented
+ Comfortable handling confidential information
