This person is responsible for being the primary, single point of contact for a specified shift.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Communicates daily with Area Manager to ensure client expectations are being met as well as obtain any special instructions such as meetings or special events. May communicate with customer contact as needed.
  • Works to resolve client complaints and assists with follows up to make sure the situation is corrected in a prompt and timely manner.
  • Assists with new hire training and onboarding, as well as assimilation to the team.
  • Will be responsible for all cleaning while on duty.
  • Responsible for ensuring employees are in proper attire.
  • Assists with communicating to employees and enforces company rules of conduct and ensure a positive workplace environment.
  • Reports supply shortage inventory to Area Manager.
  • Report any disciplinary issues to Manager and work together to resolve matters.
  • Ability to learn different types of motorized equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks & walkie riders.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and lead by example.
  • Ability to train and develop others to perform cleaning tasks in areas such as lobbies, break areas, lunch rooms, restrooms, offices, training rooms, hallways and warehouse space such as aisles and walkways.
  • This is a full-time non-exempt position, eligible for overtime.
Hours may vary depending on projects assigned.
Requirements:
  • 1 yr. in a supervisory or lead role in a commercial cleaning, distribution, warehouse, or other direct service industry (hotels, restaurants, retail)
  • Stand and walk with breaks for up to 10 hours per day
  • Lift up to 40 lbs. on an occasional basis
  • Flexibility to adjust plans when needed based on customer demands
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish)
