Human Resources (HR) Manager

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in Boulder, Colorado. This is a long-term contract position that offers an opportunity to oversee critical HR functions, including payroll, compliance, and talent acquisition. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in Paylocity and a strong background in HR operations.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll using Paylocity, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
• Collaborate on payroll transitions by working alongside the outgoing employee for two payroll cycles.
• Manage HR compliance specific to Colorado regulations, addressing leave policies and employee relations.
• Conduct talent acquisition activities, including background checks and I-9 verifications, with a focus on backend processes.
• Oversee onboarding procedures to ensure seamless integration of new hires.
• Support employee relations by addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace environment.
• Administer benefits programs and ensure employees understand available options.
• Utilize HRIS systems to maintain and update employee records efficiently.
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet deadlines during a five-day close process.
