A Human Resources Manager manages human resources functions for a company or organization, including the recruiting, hiring and training of employees. Works with executive management to develop and implement staffing and compensation plans and works to attract and retain qualified employees. Oversees training and development initiatives. Manages compensation and benefits structure and provides information to employees. Monitors compliance with employment-related regulations. Implements company policies and deals with staffing or disciplinary issues as needed.

Job Description
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experience in hospitality. HR experience with a demonstrated track record of success preferred. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR credential preferred. Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including recruiting, benefits, compensation practices, culture, employee relations, and knowledge of federal and state respective employment-related laws Ability to think strategically, while driving and owning initiatives. Spanish speaking a major plus Results driven, strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate a variety of information and material to candidates and employees. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Highly adaptable and flexible; able to navigate competing priorities. Customer-service focused and able to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees and managers in a team-based environment. Demonstrated ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Previous Management experience required, PHD in Social Chemistry preferred!OTHER FUN FACTS ON WHAT COMES WITH THE JOB
