Full-Time Build the People & Processes Behind a Growing Company We are a growing landscaping company in Connecticut seeking a Human Resources Business Partner - Project Management & Operations to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for a highly organized, process-driven HR professional who enjoys building systems, managing workflows, improving processes, and partnering with operations and leadership . The HR Business Partner will play a key role in creating a streamlined, consistent, and efficient employee experience from the moment a candidate is hired through onboarding and beyond. What You'll Do Own and manage the company's new-hire onboarding workflow from offer acceptance through completion Partner with division managers and operations leaders to ensure new hires are properly and timely onboarded Coordinate background checks, DOT requirements, employment documentation, I-9s, tax forms, HRIS entry, and other onboarding requirements Develop and maintain standardized HR processes and workflows Identify process gaps and implement solutions that improve efficiency and accountability Create project timelines, track deliverables, and follow up with managers to ensure deadlines are met Serve as an HR partner to managers and employees across multiple locations/divisions Assist with employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, and HR initiatives Maintain accurate and confidential employee records Support HR compliance and ensure processes are consistently followed Help develop and implement HR projects as the company continues to grow Work closely with the HR Director and leadership team on strategic and operational HR initiatives What We're Looking For The successful candidate is someone who is: Highly organized and detail-oriented A strong project manager and follow-through person Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines Excellent at creating and improving processes A strong communicator who can work effectively with field and corporate leadership Comfortable holding managers accountable to established workflows Proficient with HRIS and Microsoft Office Able to work independently while also functioning as a strong team partner Experience in HR, operations, project management, scheduling, or a related field Why This Role Is Different This isn't an HR position that simply waits for requests to come in.
