High-visibility role with direct exposure to executive leadership Opportunity to build structure and standardize HR in a historically decentralized environment Established organization with nearly 100 years of operations undergoing modernization Newly renovated, professional office environment True ownership role — step into a standalone HR presence with impact across the full employee lifecycle Key Responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager Serve as the on-site HR lead and strategic business partner to leadership Oversee full-cycle HR including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.) Manage HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation with strong attention to detail Support and oversee payroll processes (ADP experience preferred) Partner with leadership on workforce planning and hiring needs Lead employee relations efforts, investigations, and conflict resolution Drive employee engagement, retention, and culture initiatives Support safety, workers' compensation, and risk management processes Preferred Qualifications of the Human Resources Manager Bachelor's degree required; HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a standalone or site-based role Strong compliance background within a regulated or operational environment Experience supporting the full employee lifecycle and partnering closely with leadership Exposure to payroll systems (ADP strongly preferred) Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to operate independently Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities #LI-Onsite #LI-OR1 #INAPR2026Similar remote jobs
