About the Position WoodTech Global, Inc., a growing custom cabinet manufacturing company in the Bradenton/Sarasota area, is seeking an experienced Accounting & Human Resources Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working in a smaller company environment where they can take ownership of the day-to-day accounting and human resources functions. The position is not a Controller or CFO role . The owner remains actively involved in the company's financial reporting and management. We are looking for someone who can independently manage our daily accounting processes, payroll, employee administration, and HR responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Accounting Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Process and oversee payroll Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Maintain accurate accounting records Manage vendor records and payments Monitor customer accounts and collections Assist with cash management and banking activities Maintain employee expense and reimbursement records Work with ownership and outside CPA as needed Assist with workers' compensation and insurance audits Maintain organized financial and accounting documentation Human Resources Coordinate recruiting and hiring of new employees Prepare job postings and assist with candidate screening Conduct new-hire onboarding and employment paperwork Maintain employee personnel records Administer PTO, benefits, and other employee programs Assist employees with payroll and benefits questions Coordinate workers' compensation matters Maintain compliance with employment documentation and company policies Assist management with employee relations and personnel matters Help maintain and update employee policies and procedures Qualifications 5+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, office management, or related experience Strong experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations Experience with QuickBooks Previous HR, payroll, recruiting, or employee administration experience strongly preferred Strong Microsoft Excel skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential employee and financial information Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience working in a manufacturing, construction, cabinet, millwork, or similar business is a plus A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or human resources is preferred. Relevant hands-on experience is most important to us. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, accurate, and comfortable wearing multiple hats. Because we are a smaller company, this position has significant interaction with ownership, employees, customers, and vendors. The right person will be someone who sees what needs to be done, takes ownership of it, and enjoys being an important part of a close-knit business.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
