This role is critical in ensuring compliance, supporting staff, and building strong HR processes. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while partnering closely with leadership. Key Responsibilities Oversee all HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, and employee records Ensure compliance with
HIPAA, DCF
regulations, and employment laws Manage employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution Coordinate payroll and benefits administration (experience with ADP strongly preferred) Maintain and update HR policies and procedures Support audits, credentialing, and regulatory reporting Partner with leadership on hiring, performance management, and retention strategies Ensure proper documentation and compliance for all employees Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 3-5+ years of HR experience (behavioral health or healthcare strongly preferred) Strong knowledge of HIPAA and employment law compliance Experience with ADP or similar HRIS/payroll systems Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience managing HR functions independently is highly preferred
