Job Description
Job Summary The Human Resource Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment and labor laws. Leadership in this position will contribute to the development and implementation of consistent and effective HR policies, procedures and workforce strategies. Prior to employment the selected candidate is required to have a Level 2 background screening which is monitored and maintained by the State of Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies aligned with organizational goals, including workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational design. Lead talent acquisition efforts by managing HR sourcing channels, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees through engaging orientation programs. Manage employee performance evaluation processes, training and development initiatives, and employee relations to foster a positive work environment. Administer benefits programs, workers' compensation claims, and payroll systems utilizing established digital platforms. Ensure compliance with employment and labor law regulations such as OSHA and FMLA; handle contracts and legal documentation accurately. Facilitate change management projects by guiding organizational transitions smoothly while maintaining clear communication across teams. Identify, review and advise on tasks related to recruitment process and employment strategies to meet employment requirements. Liaise with external consultants and school leadership to ensure effectiveness in meeting established guidelines and standard practices. Interpret, assist and advise employees and managers regarding cooperative agreement applications, leave management, benefit administration, and HR procedures and policies. Qualifications Proven experience in human resources management with a strong understanding of human capital management principles. Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, employee evaluation, benefits administration, and HR sourcing strategies. Knowledge of employment & labor law compliance including OSHA regulations and workers' compensation procedures. Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as Workday, Oracle
HCM, SAP
SuccessFactors, or similar systems; experience with ATS like iCIMS or Taleo is preferred. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead change initiatives effectively. Excellent communication skills to foster positive employee relations and facilitate conflict management. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion while maintaining high levels of organizational confidentiality.Pay:
