  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Human Resources & Payroll.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of human resources management and payroll operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations while fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture. Your expertise will drive talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HR systems integration, empowering the organization to achieve its strategic objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a talented HR team, implement innovative HR initiatives, and shape the future of our workforce. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the human resources team to deliver comprehensive HR services across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. Develop and execute strategic HR plans aligned with organizational goals, including talent acquisition strategies and succession planning. Oversee payroll processing activities ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance using systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP, Kronos, or similar platforms. Manage employee onboarding, orientation programs, and training & development initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention. Ensure adherence to employment & labor law, OSHA standards, FMLA regulations, Workers' Compensation policies, and HR legal compliance requirements. Handle employee misconduct investigations with transparency and fairness while managing conflict resolution processes effectively. Implement process improvements in HR sourcing, organization design, benefits administration, and program management to optimize operational efficiency. Utilize data analysis skills for reporting on HR metrics; leverage HRIS systems for data collection and strategic decision-making. Promote a culture of diversity and inclusion by managing Employee Relations programs and ensuring Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) compliance. Lead change management initiatives related to HR systems upgrades or organizational restructuring efforts. Experience Proven experience in managing human resources teams within a fast-paced environment with supervisory responsibilities. Extensive knowledge of employment law in talent management, employee relations management, and HR legal compliance. Demonstrated success in talent acquisition strategies including sourcing through HR systems like Oracle HCM or SAP SuccessFactors. Strong background in payroll administration using platforms such as ADP or Kronos with a focus on accuracy and regulatory adherence. Skilled in conflict management, employee evaluation processes, and employee misconduct investigations. Experience with benefits administration programs including FMLA administration and workers' compensation claims handling. Proficiency in data analysis skills for HR reporting; familiarity with process improvement methodologies is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior leadership. Strategic thinker with experience in organizational design, succession planning, change management, and program management at senior leadership levels.
