MUST HAVE HOTEL/RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Human Resources Manager to support our hospitality operations in Pompano Beach, including Lola's on the Water, Sands Harbor Resort & Marina, and Residence Inn Pompano Beach Oceanfront. This is an on-property, operational HR role for someone who enjoys being visible, accessible, and actively involved with managers and team members. The ideal candidate understands the fast pace of hotels and restaurants and can balance employee relations, compliance, recruiting, onboarding, and day-to-day HR needs. What You Will Be Doing Serve as the on-site HR resource for managers and team members across our Pompano Beach properties Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and orientation for hotel and restaurant positions Partner with department managers to address employee relations, performance, attendance, and workplace concerns Assist managers with coaching, counseling, progressive discipline, and appropriate documentation Help ensure company policies, standards, and procedures are consistently communicated and followed Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation Coordinate new-hire paperwork, employment eligibility documentation, and other onboarding requirements Support required training and certifications Assist with benefits and employee questions and direct team members to the appropriate resources when necessary Work closely with property leadership to identify staffing needs and improve employee retention Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee matters Help create a professional, positive, and accountable workplace culture Maintain a visible HR presence throughout the properties and stay engaged with the day-to-day operation What You Bring to the Table Previous Human Resources experience required Hotel, restaurant, resort, or hospitality HR experience strongly preferred Working knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and HR compliance Experience handling coaching, counseling, and progressive discipline Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to work effectively with hourly team members, managers, and senior property leadership Professional judgment and discretion when handling confidential matters A hands-on, solutions-oriented approach to HR Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment Reliable and able to work on property in Pompano Beach PHR or SHRM certification is a plus We're looking for someone who understands that great hospitality starts with a great team.
