Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources/Payroll Manager to lead our HR and payroll functions with energy and precision. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and payroll administration. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a passion for fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring regulatory adherence, and optimizing HR systems to support organizational growth and wellbeing. Duties Lead end-to-end talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent while managing employment law compliance and employee orientation programs. Oversee payroll operations using HRIS systems such as SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, Oracle HCM, or Kronos to ensure accurate processing of wages, benefits administration, and workers' compensation claims. Manage employee relations by conducting misconduct investigations, resolving conflicts through effective negotiation and conflict management strategies, and fostering a positive work environment. Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws including
FMLA, OSHA
regulations, EEO standards, and HR legal requirements. Develop and implement HR programs related to performance management, succession planning, training & development, organization design, and change management initiatives. Supervise HR teams to ensure efficient service delivery in areas such as employee evaluation, benefits administration, HR sourcing, and HR compliance. Analyze HR data to support strategic planning efforts through data collection and analysis skills while utilizing tools like Kronos or Oracle HCM for workforce analytics. Experience Proven supervisory experience leading human resources teams in a healthcare environment with demonstrated success in managing complex HR functions. Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, HR legal compliance management, and employee misconduct investigations. Strong background in talent management including recruiting strategies and employee evaluation processes. Hands-on experience managing payroll systems such as ADP or SAP SuccessFactors along with familiarity with HRIS platforms like Oracle HCM or Kronos. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity while maintaining high standards of HR compliance and ethics. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior leadership and staff alike. Skills in negotiation, process improvement, strategic thinking in HR leadership, and program management are essential for success in this role. $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
