Full Job Description Description:
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on HR Manager to serve as the sole Human Resources professional for our multi-site organization with locations in Florida and California. This role manages all daily HR operations in a shared services model, supporting employees and leaders across both businesses. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary HR contact for all day-to-day employee and manager needs. Lead HR initiatives including Paylocity automation and process improvements. Support disciplinary actions, terminations, and investigations. Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws. Process accurate biweekly, multi-state payroll in Paylocity. Administer all benefit programs, open enrollment, and benefit communications. Manage leaves of absence, accommodations, and workers' compensation claims. Handle unemployment claims, employment verifications, and HR documentation. Lead all recruiting activities , including sourcing, interviewing, offers, onboarding, and training coordination.
Requirements:
Qualifications 5+ years of HR generalist or HR manager experience. Bachelor's degree in HR or related field. SHRM-CP, PHR, or APA (FPC/CPP) certification a plus. Strong Microsoft Office and Adobe Writer skills. Paylocity experience strongly preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. Strong prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with professionalism. Solid knowledge of multi-state employment laws and regulations.
