Activities Director - Assisted Living Full-Time | $25.00-$30.00 per Hour | Weekly Pay Our established Assisted Living Community is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and creative Activities Director to lead and coordinate engaging recreational and social programs that enhance the quality of life for our residents. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about senior care and enjoys creating meaningful experiences for older adults. Responsibilities Plan, organize, and oversee a comprehensive activities program for Assisted Living residents. Develop daily, weekly, and monthly activity calendars that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well-being. Lead group and one-on-one activities, special events, holiday celebrations, and community outings. Supervise and support activities staff and volunteers. Encourage resident participation while respecting individual preferences and abilities. Coordinate with other departments to ensure successful events and resident engagement. Maintain activity records and documentation in accordance with community policies and state regulations. Ensure activity supplies and equipment are organized and readily available. Qualifications Previous experience leading activities in an Assisted Living, Memory Care, Long-Term Care, or Senior Living community required. Previous supervisory or leadership experience required. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Creative, energetic, and resident-focused approach to programming. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Experience with activity planning and documentation is preferred.
