A Director of Human Resources manages human resources functions for a company or organization, including the recruiting, hiring and training of employees. Works with executive management to develop and implement staffing and compensation plans, and works to attract and retain qualified employees. Oversees training and development initiatives. Manages compensation and benefits structure and provides information to employees. Monitors compliance with employment-related regulations. Implements company policies and deals with staffing or disciplinary issues as needed.

Job Description
- Develop and execute the organization's Human Resources strategy.
- Lead recruiting, onboarding, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Supervise HR staff and provide coaching, training, and performance management.
- Develop, review, and maintain HR policies, employee handbook, and job descriptions.
- Partner with department managers to address staffing, employee relations, and performance issues.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, OSHA requirements, EEO, FMLA, and company policies.
- Maintain HRIS systems (Paycom preferred) and HR metrics including turnover, retention, time-to-fill, and employee engagement.
- Lead investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Develop employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
- Coordinate training, leadership development, and compliance programs.
- Support executive leadership with organizational planning and strategic initiatives. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, within the carpet and rug manufacturing industry.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR leadership or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, compensation, benefits, employee relations, and compliance.
- Experience with
HRIS/ATS
systems, preferably Paycom.- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
