- Director of Human Resources - MANUFACTURINGEXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY. NO BANKING, MEDICAL OR RETAIL WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Career Recruiting Specialists is a partner with a major manufacturing company located in the Dublin GA area. Must have strong leadership skills, and the ability to coach, train, and retain employees. This position has one direct report, but it is still a very hands on position. Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience working in HR. The HR Manager will be responsible for the effective delivery of all HR fundamentals and HR processes for the site. This role is key in driving a high performance culture and fostering and promoting our Leadership Behaviors.Responsibilities:
Facilitate and drives organizational development initiatives by working with the leadership teams to meet organizational goals Act as Key Business Partner for the plant site and involved in Operations Leadership Team Ensure that various HR programs are effectively delivered, including: performance management, capability development, employee engagement, disability management, onboarding and other programs Lead engagement activities Oversee and lead legal compliance Work with the recruitment team to lead standard recruitment and succession plans for the site Provides guidance and support to management and employees on HR policies, procedures and processes Ensure HR fundamentals/HR processes are delivered on time with the highest quality standards Some travel will be requiredESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Retention/Engagement:
Carry out retention strategies and keep the turnover rate below industry.Employee Relations:
Assess employee engagement and proactively develop action plans to ensure a positive, engaging and supportive work environment. Proactively address employee relation issues. Drive Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.HR Manager Team Leadership:
Provide guidance on HR matters, setting department objectives and strategic direction, and ensuring team member development and career growth.Payroll & Benefits:
Using experience and subject matter expertise oversee the Payroll Administrator. Ensure best practices, compliance, and accuracy of this function.Benefits:
Own broker and vendor relationships, orchestrate open enrollment, install best practices, ensure all employees are informed about benefits, minimize errors, compliance and recommend improvements to attract and retain employees.HRIS:
Manages and owns the integrity of employee data, recommends technology upgrades, processes, and policy to optimize electronic records.Qualifications:
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree of Business, Human Resources preferred Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams Strong sense of urgency to complete tasks Strong interpersonal skills and team oriented Ability to teach, mentor, and coach Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics PHR or SPHR preferred Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple competing prioritiesSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has two direct reports and will handle all day to day matters of the HR function.COMPETENCIES

Bachelors/Master's Degree in Human Resources or relevant field is required Minimum of 10 years of mid level HR experience Minimum of 3 years managing HR team members Manufacturing experience highly desired. HR Certification is preferred Demonstrated knowledge of benefits administration to include: health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement plans Demonstrated experience of complying with HR and payroll laws to include FLSA, Wage and Hour Law regulations, ERISA and ACA including required filings. Intermediate skills in Excel and Outlook, intermediate skills in Word and PowerPoint. Proficiency and knowledge of HRIS software. ADP experience strongly preferred. Working knowledge of financial processes, policies, and technologies.Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
