Summary The HR Manager is responsible for leading and managing the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes for all new team members. This role oversees the daily workflow of the HR department, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to company policies. The will handle employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, maintaining compliance and professionalism throughout.
Additionally, this position involves managing the company's HRIS systems, administering employee benefit enrollments and terminations, and overseeing the management of leave of absence and workers' compensation cases. The HR Manager also plays a key role in driving employee engagement initiatives and is responsible for managing administrative payroll processes. This position ensures the efficient, effective, and compliant functioning of the HR department. Compensation $106,000 - $118,000 yearly salary range. (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection) Responsibilities Manage the talent acquisition process, which includes recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, professional roles, and driver roles. Oversees employee disciplinary meetings and terminations. Provides support and guidance to HR, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations. Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities. Manage the administrative and driver payroll process. Ensuring timely, compliant submissions. Analyze turnover, hiring trends, and engagement data for company wide reporting. Maintain HRIS systems and processes, along side the creation of all DQ files to stay within DOT compliance. Oversee the daily workflow of the HR department. Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization. Ensure compliance of all state and federal labor laws. Oversee salary structures and pay equity. Traveling domestic and internationally up to 5% Other duties as assigned Skills Required Strong knowledge of HR policies, practices, and employment laws. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software applications. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Direct experience processing payroll.
