Dependent on Experience About the Position We are seeking an experienced and people-focused HR Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day human resources functions of our organization. The HR Manager will serve as a trusted resource for employees and management while helping ensure that our company maintains a positive, productive, and professional workplace. This position will be responsible for employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, policies and procedures, and other HR-related functions. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, knowledgeable about employment practices, and able to balance the needs of employees with the goals of the organization. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day HR operations and provide guidance to employees and managers. Lead the recruiting and hiring process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, background checks, and hiring recommendations. Develop and manage effective employee onboarding and orientation programs. Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel records. Administer employee benefits, including enrollment, changes, and employee questions. Manage employee relations issues and assist with conflict resolution and disciplinary matters. Support managers with performance evaluations, coaching, corrective action, and employee development. Develop, implement, and maintain company policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain required HR documentation, records, and reports. Partner with management on workforce planning, staffing needs, and organizational development. Monitor employee attendance, leave, and other employment-related matters. Assist with payroll-related HR information and employee questions as needed. Coordinate employee training and professional development programs. Help promote a positive company culture and employee engagement. Stay current on changes in employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices. Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Perform other HR-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR is preferred. 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, with management-level experience preferred. Willingness to travel to other locations quarterly. Strong knowledge of employment practices, employee relations, recruiting, and HR administration. Experience with HRIS, payroll, benefits, and other HR systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to handle confidential information appropriately. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with management and employees. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard HR technology.
