As the Director of Human Resources

•Multi-Site Operations , you will provide strategic HR leadership across a geographically dispersed Western region, supporting operations throughout Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. This position will focus on strengthening the HR organization, developing and mentoring HR leaders, driving employee relations and culture initiatives, and creating greater consistency across multiple locations. You will also help integrate acquired operations and continue aligning HR policies, practices, and culture as the organization grows. The ideal candidate is a senior HR leader with significant multi-site and multi-state experience , preferably within food manufacturing, agriculture, or another large manufacturing environment. This role requires someone who can operate strategically, coach and empower local HR leaders, navigate complex employee relations matters, and partner effectively with operational and executive leadership.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute HR strategies that align people, culture, employee engagement, retention, and workforce priorities with broader business objectives. Lead, coach, and develop a geographically dispersed HR team, building stronger leadership capabilities and empowering local HR professionals to independently manage complex employee and workforce matters. Drive consistency across multi-state operations by standardizing HR policies, procedures, communication, and employment practices while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Provide strategic leadership across employee relations, organizational culture, leadership development, workforce effectiveness, and change management. Support continued organizational growth and future acquisitions by helping integrate new operations, HR practices, policies, and cultures into the broader organization. Partner with senior and operational leadership, using HR metrics, workforce insights, and best practices to identify opportunities and continuously improve organizational performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred. 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years at the Manager level or above. Demonstrated experience leading HR across multiple sites and multiple states. Experience within food manufacturing, agriculture, manufacturing, or another large operational environment with a significant frontline workforce strongly preferred. Strong expertise in employee relations, multi-state employment law, organizational development, culture building, leadership development, and HR policy implementation. Experience with M&A, post-acquisition integration, or standardizing HR practices across acquired businesses or multiple locations strongly preferred. Proven ability to coach and develop HR professionals and operational leaders rather than simply taking ownership of issues at the corporate level. Strong HR technology and HRIS capabilities; ADP experience preferred. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or

SHRM-SCP

certification preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly desirable but not required. Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50%, primarily throughout Western U.S. operations.
