Beacon Health Inc. is seeking a dependable and experienced Agency Manager to oversee the daily operations of our HCBS residential home in Waukee, Iowa. The ideal candidate must be a strong leader who is organized, reliable, and committed to providing quality, person-centered care. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HCBS home. Supervise, schedule, and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). Ensure adequate staffing and arrange coverage for call-outs and open shifts. Provide direct care and work shifts when necessary if no staff are available to cover. Ensure individuals receive safe, respectful, and person-centered care. Monitor medication administration and required documentation. Review daily notes, incident reports, and other required records. Coordinate appointments, transportation, and community activities. Communicate with families, guardians, case managers, and healthcare providers. Ensure the home remains clean, safe, organized, and compliant with agency and HCBS requirements. Assist with hiring, orientation, training, and coaching of staff. Respond appropriately to emergencies and resident concerns. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; college education preferred. Experience in HCBS, group homes, developmental disabilities, healthcare, or residential services preferred. Supervisory or management experience preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Must be dependable, flexible, and willing to provide hands-on care when needed. Must meet all background check, driver's license, and agency training requirements.
