OVERVIEW

OREST Express is seeking an HR Manager to join our team. This role reports directly to the owners and will involve managing the entire HR function for our logistics company. As the company grows, this position may evolve to include managing additional team members. The ideal candidate will have experience in the transportation industry and be fluent in English, Ukrainian, and/or Russian.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment & HR:

Design and implement effective recruitment systems tailored to the company's needs. Network with institutions and use social media platforms to recruit top talent. Draft and post job descriptions to attract qualified candidates. Prepare job offers for both office personnel and drivers. Screen, interview, and guide candidates through the hiring process. Assist qualified candidates in completing applications and necessary documentation. Schedule and conduct orientation sessions for new hires. Maintain a seamless onboarding process to ensure smooth transitions for new employees. Ensure drivers meet all qualification requirements (MVRs, PSPs, DAC, and Verification of Employment). Provide training, counseling, and coaching for both new and current employees. Foster and promote a positive company culture.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in the transportation/logistics industry is preffered Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with applicants, drivers, and other employees. Fluency in Ukrainian/Russian is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva and DocuSign. Ability to work independently and show initiative. Positive, collaborative, and can-do attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on meeting performance metrics.
