Job Description Working alongside a high profile and prestigious team, The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a People & Culture Coordinator to join our team to achieve the company's objectives and support our People & Culture operations. Work for a luxury Five-Star Five-Diamond property in the heart of Michigan Avenue, Chicago Learn and grow within a diverse multi-outlet property Exceptional health benefits package and 401(k) with company match Key Accountabilities Provide administrative support to People & Culture team Coordinate new hire onboarding, including HRIS setup, employee files, and I9s Ensure data integrity through data entry, document auditing and distribution, and staff compliance to handbook policies Serve as primary point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on policies, programs, and procedures Generate and analyze P&C reports, including head count, turnover, and compliance tracking Coordinate all associate event functions Maintain correct records of all associates anniversary dates and birthdays General Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience required Must be able to multitask while maintaining proficiency and professionalism on phone Ability to work and communicate effectively with all staff Extensive knowledge on administrative systems including MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook Outgoing, friendly, detail-oriented, and effectively communicate in spoken and written English to all internal and external guests, staff, and management Benefits We Offer 10 vacation days per year 9 paid holiday days per year 5 Chicago Paid Sick Leave days per year 5 Chicago Paid Leave days per year Complimentary employee meals Discounted parking Discounted and complimentary room nights at The Peninsula Hotels 50% restaurant discount 50% discount on spa services 25% discount on spa retail 80% company-paid medical, dental and vision coverage Complimentary life insurance Complimentary long-term disability Retirement plan with 5% company match We are delighted to receive your resume for further consideration.
