- GM Position Purpose__________________________________________________________________________ The People and Culture Leader (HR) is responsible for supporting the organization's most valuable asset—its people.
This role leads and supports the employee experience from recruitment and onboarding through development, performance management, engagement and retention. This position serves as a trusted resource for both leadership and employees, helping create clear expectations, consistent practices, strong communication and opportunities for employee growth and development. Core Responsibilities__________________________________________________________________________ Recruit, hire and onboard qualified employees who fit company needs and values. Manage employee concerns, conflicts, discipline and workplace issues fairly and consistently. Establish expectations, track performance, coach employees and address performance issues. Ensure HR practices follow employment laws, company policies and documentation requirements. Coordinate employee onboarding, training and ongoing professional development. Manage employee pay, bonuses, benefits and compensation related programs. Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, payroll information, PTO and reporting, Performance Expectations __________________________________________________________________________ Fill open positions efficiently while maintaining hiring quality. Deliver a positive onboarding experience for every new hire. Respond to employee questions promptly and professionally. Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential records. Ensure compliance with all employment regulations. Improve employee engagement and retention. Support leaders with timely coaching and performance documentation. Meet established recruiting, onboarding and administrative deadlines. Demonstrate professionalism, fairness and integrity in every interaction. Leadership Expectations Lead by example through professionalism, accountability and positive attitude. Communicate effectively with customers, vendors and dealership teams. Train and develop team members through role play and coaching. Address issues proactively and provide solutions quickly. Support dealership goals and promote teamwork across all departments. Daily metrics and KPI reporting. Hold team members to all standards and non negotiables expected of the department. Weekly one on one's with team members and attendance to all leadership meetings. Success Criteria Positions are filled on time with qualified candidates who meet company standards. Maintain strong employee retention by identifying and addressing turnover risks. Maintain 100% compliance with employment laws, policies, documentation and required training. Resolve employee concerns and disciplinary issues promptly, fairly and consistently. HR processes, records, payroll, onboarding, offboarding and reporting are accurate and completed on time.
