Job Description

Harsha Behavioral Center is seeking a full time Human Resources Manager. 3 years previous HR or leadership experience required.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities include:
Hires and retains qualified staff; ensures new employees are oriented to their department and well trained for their jobs. Maintains HR files for employees including keeping job descriptions up to date. Ensures that changes in staff payroll are implemented. Directs the preparation of all reports, spreadsheets and other department documents. Oversees employee complaints, terminations and caution notices. Organizes the department workload and establishes work standards to promote efficiency and productivity. Motivates and manages staff to ensure that performance standards are met or exceeded. Gives timely and constructive feedback on performance; documents all corrective counseling. Serves as the Human Resources Designee for all Harsha entities. Demonstrates the ability to make decisions, take appropriate action and follow tasks through to completion Recognizes and analyzes the implications of new situations and develops workable solutions to maintain productivity and morale Acts as a role model in demonstrating the customer service standards of the organization. Responds cooperatively to managers and staff members in other departments to promote teamwork. Provides leadership and assistance to staff in daily operations Adheres to dress code; appearance is neat, clean and professional. Completes annual education requirements. Maintains regulatory requirements. Maintains patient confidentiality. Reports to work on time and as scheduled; completes work in designated time. Attends annual review and departmental in-services, and staff meetings as appropriate. Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner. Actively participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities. Communicates the mission, ethics and goals of the facility. Dependable and good attendance. Ability to work and communicate with all employees. Individuals recovering must have one year drug free and are expected to maintain sobriety during the term of employment. Is an effective communicator, mentally alert, reliable, conscientious, tactful, flexible and cooperative. Maintains company insurance plan and adding and deleting of employees.
