At IHG Army Hotels Fort Leavenworth , we are committed to creating a workplace where our people feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented People & Culture (P&C) Coordinator to support our People & Culture operations and administrative functions while helping deliver an exceptional employee experience. As a key member of the People & Culture team, you will serve as a primary resource for employee inquiries, assist with recruitment and onboarding activities, coordinate employee programs and events, and provide administrative support that helps foster a positive and engaging workplace culture. Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations & Support Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding employment, policies, payroll, benefits, and workplace procedures. Provide timely assistance and follow up to ensure employee concerns are addressed. Escalate complex or sensitive employee matters to the Area People & Culture Manager as appropriate. Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and business information. Ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Promote teamwork and exceptional service through daily communication and collaboration. Recruitment & Onboarding Support the full-cycle recruitment process by: Posting and maintaining internal and external job advertisements. Screening, routing, tracking, and filing applications and resumes. Scheduling interviews and candidate communications. Coordinating background checks, employment verifications, and reference checks. Processing new hire documentation and system entries. Assist with new employee orientation, training, tracking and onboarding activities. Review onboarding paperwork for accuracy and completeness. Experience Demonstrated experience in human resources management or HR department roles with a focus on talent management, personnel administration, or employee relations. Strong project management skills with experience in coordinating multiple HR initiatives simultaneously. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information professionally and effectively engage diverse teams. Prior experience in employment law in talent management or HR legal compliance is preferred. Experience in Coordinating employee engagement activities, recognition programs, team events, and morale-building initiatives. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media management for employer branding, and administrative experience supporting HR functions is highly desirable.
Pay:
$19.25 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
