Organization Information Located on the southern bank of the Ohio River in NW Kentucky, Henderson County Schools is a Distinguished district serving 7100 preschool through 12th grade students in 1 preschool center, 8 elementaries, 2 middle schools, a high school, a career/technical center, and an alternative education center. The Director will organize, plan, direct and implement the District's Human Resources programs and activities including employment, compensation, negotiations, employee relations, employee benefits and employee assistance; supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel. The Board of Education may, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent, appoint a Director of Human Resources. The Director of Human Resources shall be a 240 day contract. The Director will be directly responsible to the Superintendent. Salary commensurate with years of teaching experience and rank.Qualifications:
The Director of Human Resources must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree. Preference will be given to those with Kentucky teaching and/or educational leadership certifications. Administrative/supervisory experience and relevant educational background and work experience are important and will be considered.
