Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership & Accountability Oversee full cycle recruitment strategy for the branch, ensuring sourcing, screening, and placement activities are executed effectively by the team to meet client demand and business objectives. Develop and refine recruiting workflows, tools, and best practices to increase efficiency, fill ratios, and operational consistency across all job orders. Monitor and evaluate candidate pipelines, ensuring proactive sourcing strategies, accurate forecasting, and appropriate prioritization of high volume or complex positions. Coach, mentor, and support Staffing Specialists and Talent Coordinators, providing guidance on candidate assessment, sourcing techniques, compliance, and ATS usage. Ensure operational excellence in recruiting processes, including documentation accuracy, adherence to compliance standards, and consistent utilization of the ATS and supporting systems. Partner with clients and internal teams to understand workforce needs, adjusting recruitment strategies to align with changing demand, market conditions, and talent availability. Oversee the branch's recruitment marketing efforts, ensuring job postings, social media outreach, and field engagement activities align with brand, compliance, and hiring goals. Review and validate hiring decisions, ensuring compensation recommendations, conditional offers, and placements align with client requirements, market trends, and internal guidelines. Ensure payroll processes and issue resolution for field talent are completed accurately and on time, where applicable, by overseeing the team responsible for execution. Use data and reporting to drive decision making, identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve fill rates, hiring speed, retention, and service quality. Identify, mitigate, and escalate operational, safety, and compliance risks, ensuring timely communication and alignment with internal stakeholders and client partners. Oversee and support unemployment-related processes, including assignment offers, work refusals, audits, and hearings, ensuring accurate documentation and risk mitigation. Serve as the primary operational liaison for assigned clients, proactively strengthen relationships, understanding business needs, and identifying opportunities for account growth. Conduct regular client site visits across all shifts to assess operational performance, workforce alignment, and service quality, ensuring CoWorx delivers consistently against expectations. Lead the resolution of client and talent escalations, ensuring issues are handled promptly, professionally, and with a focus on improving the overall customer experience. Ensure all new business leads are communicated promptly to the Sales team, supporting accurate tracking, collaboration, and pipeline visibility. Talent Leadership & Workforce Strategy Oversee end to end recruitment execution for the branch, ensuring sourcing, screening, placement, and retention strategies are carried out effectively by the team to meet client demand and business objectives. Lead openorder meetings to ensure all positions are actively worked, properly documented, and consistently followed up with clients. Drive advanced sourcing and workforce planning strategies, ensuring the branch can support complex, high volume, or rapidly changing client needs with speed, accuracy, and operational consistency. Monitor key performance metrics—including fill rates, time to fill, retention, and gross margin—and implement coaching or process improvements to ensure targets are consistently met or exceeded. Partner with internal teams to oversee Field Talent performance management, ensuring issues are documented, addressed appropriately, and communicated back to clients with accuracy and professionalism. Escalate to appropriate corporate risk teams and Sr. Leadership. Coach, mentor, and develop Staffing Specialists and Talent Coordinators, deliver training, reinforcing best practices, and building capability across sourcing, assessment, compliance, and client communication. Conduct weekly oneonone meetings with all direct reports to provide coaching, support, and performance feedback Collaborate with the branch leadership team to design and implement recruiting strategies, marketing campaigns, and workforce initiatives that attract, engage, and retain high quality talent across all client accounts. Client Partnership & Business Growth Develop deep understanding of each client's operations, including workflows, competitive landscape, shift structures, and business challenges, to ensure alignment between workforce strategies and client objectives. Ensure accuracy and consistency in order entry and match management, driving adherence to ATS standards and enabling seamless operational workflow across the branch. Collaborate closely with Sales and Market leadership to prioritize openings, align workforce strategies with evolving client demand, and support proactive planning for upcoming business needs. Drive headcount growth within existing accounts by ensuring high quality service delivery, proactive communication, and consistent execution of operational commitments. Serve as a primary point of contact for client communication, overseeing order management, addressing workforce needs, and ensuring accurate documentation and activity updates within PMX. Champion the Three S's—Service, Sales, and Speed—by leading the branch in delivering exceptional client experiences, operational efficiency, and results driven performance. Foster a collaborative, high performing environment, contributing to shared goals and supporting seamless coordination across the branch. Conduct client and prospect site visits, including operational walk-throughs and worksite evaluations, to assess safety, workforce alignment, and service effectiveness. Analyze and interpret data trends, using insights to drive operational enhancements, improve recruiting performance, and anticipate client workforce needs. Partner strongly with corporate teams (Operations Excellence, Compliance, Safety, Marketing, People & Culture) to uphold operational standards, compliance, and brand integrity. Oversee participation in unemployment processes, including assignment offers, work refusals, audits, and hearings, and support Workers' Compensation initiatives to mitigate risk and maintain compliance
Qualifications:
3+ years of proven success in staffing or recruiting with a track record of exceeding KPIs. Strong relationship building, leadership skills, and communication skills. High level of responsiveness and engagement. Team oriented and demonstrates a willingness to help. Highly resourceful with the ability to prioritize and multitask with limited direction. Strong technology and social media skills. Strong planning, time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to coach and mentor. Ability to present to internal team members and clients. Proficiency with ATS systems, Microsoft Office, and social media recruiting tools. Ability to travel within the local market to visit clients and conduct recruiting events as needed.
