Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and collaborative HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our People team. In this role, you will serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders, managing the full employee lifecycle while delivering expert guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and workforce planning. A key differentiator for this role is hands-on experience supporting employee immigration and visa processes, making you a critical resource for our globally diverse workforce.
HR Business PartneringAct as a trusted advisor to business units, aligning HR strategies with organizational goalsProvide coaching and guidance to leaders on performance management, team dynamics, and employee developmentAnalyze HR metrics and trends to proactively identify issues and recommend solutionsUse data to influence decisionsEmployee Relations & Problem SolvingConduct thorough and objective investigations into workplace complaints or policy violationsEnsure consistent application of company policies and compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsSupport and facilitate disciplinary processes, PIPs, and terminations in partnership with legal and managementConflict Resolution between employees or teamsImmigration & Visa SupportServe as the internal subject matter expert on employment-based immigration matters (H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, green card sponsorship, etc.)Coordinate with outside immigration counsel to manage visa petitions, extensions, transfers, and renewalsMaintain accurate immigration case tracking and ensure timely filing of all required documentationAdvise employees and managers on visa status, work authorization timelines, and compliance obligationsEducate HR team and hiring managers on I-9 compliance and employment eligibility verification best practicesStay current on USCIS policy updates, regulatory changes, and immigration trends impacting the workforceOrganizational Development & SupportDrive onboarding effectiveness and new hire integration programsIdentify learning and development needs and work with L&D to close skill gapsContribute to succession planning, career pathing, and retention strategiesGuide Performance reviews and calibrationSupport the integration of toolsHelp leaders communicate changes effectivelySupport the people side of transitionsPrograms & ProjectsLead or contribute to HR initiatives such as engagement surveys, compensation reviews, and policy updatesSupport annual processes including performance reviews, compensation planning, and benefits open enrollmentCollaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and Operations on people-related programsQualifications3-7 years of progressive HR generalist or business partner experienceDemonstrated experience managing employment-based immigration processes and working with immigration counselStrong knowledge of I-9 compliance, work authorization categories, and employment eligibility requirementsSolid understanding of federal and state employment law (FLSA, ADA, FMLA, Title VII, etc.)Proven ability to handle sensitive employee relations matters with discretion and objectivityExcellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentProficiency in HRIS platforms (Workday, ADP, BambooHR, or similar)PreferredBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldPHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.BLEND360
