Job Description
Summary Working closely with department leaders, Human Resources, and the Workforce Development Manager, this position coordinates training activities, maintains compliance records, supports workforce readiness initiatives, and promotes a culture of continuous learning. The Manager also serves as a key backup resource for Human Resources operations, employee benefits administration, and payroll processing, ensuring continuity of critical HR functions and exceptional employee support. Min High School Diploma/GED Min of 2yrs experience in a management role. Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills. Excellent organizational, project management, and time management abilities. Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design practices. Ability to build collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS systems, payroll systems, benefits platforms, and Learning Management Systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities New Hire Onboarding Develop, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the employee onboarding process. Facilitate new employee orientation and organizational introductions. Ensure a consistent, engaging, and welcoming onboarding experience across all departments and locations. Coordinate onboarding schedules, materials, technology access, and department readiness. Partner with supervisors to create role-specific onboarding and training plans. Monitor and support employees throughout their introductory period. Conduct onboarding evaluations and recommend process improvements. Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees during onboarding. Compliance & Regulatory Training Coordinate and administer organization-wide compliance training programs. Track required certifications, licenses, credentialing requirements, and mandatory training. Monitor training completion rates and follow up with employees and supervisors regarding outstanding requirements. Maintain accurate compliance records and training documentation. Support audits, accreditation reviews, grant requirements, and regulatory inspections by ensuring training records are current and accessible. Generate compliance reports and training status updates for leadership. Maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) and training databases. Track employee participation, completion rates, and learning outcomes. Human Resources Operations Support Serve as a backup to Human Resources team members and assist with daily HR operations to include payroll processing and benefits administration as needed Support employee lifecycle activities, including hiring, onboarding, transfers, promotions, and separations. Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is accurate and compliant. Assist with HR audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory reporting. Support recruitment activities including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and pre-employment processes. Provide administrative support for employee relations matters as directed. Maintain strict confidentiality of all personnel information. Collaborate with Human Resources, Finance, and third-party vendors to ensure accuracy and compliance. Maintain confidentiality of payroll, benefits, and employee information.
