Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee a broad range of HR functions within a collaborative school environment. This position will partner with leadership to support employees, ensure compliance, and promote a positive and effective employment experience.
Responsibilities:
Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, and employee engagement Partner with leadership and employment counsel to maintain compliant HR policies and practices Manage the full recruitment and hiring process, including job postings, candidate selection, onboarding, training, performance reviews, and offboarding Administer employee benefits including medical, dental, retirement, life, disability, FSA, COBRA, and PTO Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions Manage leave of absence, unemployment, and workers' compensation processes Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment, payroll, and wage/hour requirements Oversee required background screening and HR compliance training Maintain accurate HRIS records and prepare internal and regulatory reports Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, job descriptions, training materials, performance documentation, and other HR resources Support staffing needs and coordinate with external staffing partners as needed Prepare for and support HR, payroll, and benefits audits Supervise the Payroll and Benefits Associate and coordinate the work of additional administrative and staffing support personnel
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience 5-7+ years of relevant HR experience Strong experience with employee relations and compensation and benefits administration Experience working with HRIS and Microsoft Office Knowledge of payroll, benefits, leave administration, and employment compliance Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects Excellent interpersonal and communication skills High level of discretion, confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism Ability to build collaborative relationships across an organization Team-oriented approach with a commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace If you are interested in this opportunity and meet the above qualifications, apply to this posting today for immediate consideration!
