Human Resources Manager Byron Center, MI 49315 From $80,000 a year - Full-time From $80,000 a year - Full-time Human Resources Manager Summary We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and support all aspects of HR operations. This role is responsible for driving HR strategy, ensuring compliance, supporting employees and leaders, and fostering a positive and productive workplace. The ideal candidate is hands-on, solutions-oriented, and able to balance day-to-day HR functions with long-term organizational goals. Key Responsibilities Lead all core HR functions, including employee relations, recruiting, performance management, and compliance Partner with leadership to support business goals, workforce planning, and organizational development Manage full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and retention strategies Serve as a resource for employees and managers, addressing concerns and resolving workplace issues Oversee compensation, benefits administration, and employee engagement initiatives Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures Support training and development programs to build employee capability and leadership skills Maintain accurate HR records and reporting through HRIS systems Lead safety incident investigations and coordinate reporting with insurance carriers Facilitate safety committee meetings and support company-wide safety initiatives Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibilities Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism Proficiency in HRIS systems and
Microsoft Office Additional Information Pay:
