Job Description

Job Summary:

The People & Culture Virtual Platforms Manager manages all aspects of BDO's virtual platforms. This role is the main point of contact for the firm's platform vendors regarding any issues and stays abreast of any new features. The Manager's primary role is to consult on the best approach in utilizing the platforms to meet the firm's needs. This role also consults on multi-session programs and rebroadcasts. The Manager provides support and handles any technical issues that arise when a virtual platform is being utilized or during any session.

Job Duties:

Works closely with the People & Culture Media Production Manager to ensure they are aware of all platform featuresMaintains an advanced understanding of all virtual platforms utilized by BDOResolves and troubleshoots any Level 2 platform issues and updates supporting documentation including any Knowledge Based (KB) articlesSupports the People & Culture Media Production Manager on troubleshooting Level 1 issuesCollaborates with third party virtual platform vendorsManages relationships with both internal and external technical supportConsults on advanced platform questions (features, etc.) from clients (i.e., program sponsors)Consults and manages the use of virtual platforms for large virtual conferences and hybrid eventsRemains abreast and knowledgeable of any new features across all virtual platformsMaintains the documentation for the firm's virtual platforms and features as well as the procedures and usage of the platformsTests all new virtual platform features and conveys them to the media production teamResearches new virtual platforms including cost/benefit analysesManages any issues with the virtual platforms and serves as a key technical resource for the platformsSupports the People & Culture Media Production Manager in training media production team members across the firm's virtual platformsLeads projects that identify better utilization for all virtual platformsManages National Learning & Development technology projects and ensures that milestones and timelines are metProvides direction regarding procedures and usage of the firm's virtual platformsAssists with the documentation on procedures and usage of the firm's virtual platformsInterprets National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) standards in order to advise internal clients on the appropriate design mechanisms to track participationEffectively communicates with our clients while maintaining the firm's processes and proceduresContinues to advance their skills on available features of various virtual platforms in order to consult on industry standardsLiaisons with the firms IT teamsOther duties as required

Education:

Associate's degree, requiredBachelor's degree, preferred

Experience:

Three (3) or more years of experience in a training/media production role, requiredTwo (2) or more years of experience providing level 2 technical support on virtual platforms, requiredExperience in a detail-oriented task-based role that highly leverages technology, requiredExperience with audio and basic video production, preferredExperience with interpreting regulatory guidelines, rules and laws, preferredExperience at a professional services firm, preferredExperience in writing effective learning objectives, preferred
