Trystars team members are our most important asset, and we are in search of a Human Resources Director based at our Burnsville, MN or Houston, MN office. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the Human Resources Director will lead a team of HR Managers and Generalists across Trystar, serving as a strategic partner to senior leadership and a champion for employee engagement and experience. This role is responsible for driving enterprise-wide HR initiatives, supporting organizational growth through talent strategy, and ensuring seamless cultural and operational integration of newly acquired companies. A key focus of this role is to mentor, coach, and develop HR team members to build a strong, agile, and future-ready HR function.

Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and coach a team of HR professionals to foster growth, accountability, and high performance.

Create and implement development plans to build HR capabilities aligned with Trystars strategic goals.

Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the HR team.
Strategic Partnership:
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, succession, and talent development strategies.

Represent the voice of Trystar leaders and team members and partner with the HR Centers of Excellence to ensure solutions meet the needs of the business.
Employee Engagement & Experience:
Lead initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and culture, including engagement surveys, action planning, and recognition programs.
Employee Relations:
Provide expert guidance and support to HR team members in resolving complex employee relations issues, ensuring consistency, fairness, and compliance.
M&A Integration:
Lead HR integration efforts for newly acquired companies, aligning policies, processes, and culture while minimizing disruption.
Policy & Compliance:
Oversee the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with Trystars values and legal requirements.
Change Management:
Champion change initiatives that support business transformation and organizational agility.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Masters preferred).10+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.

Proven experience in employee engagement, organizational development, and M&A integration.

Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing HR talent.

Prior HR experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably supporting multiple sites or locations across the U.S. and CanadaAbility to travel up to 25% to support Trystars geographically distributed operations.

Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and change management principles.

Exceptional interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.

Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.

Ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish is preferred.
Additional Information:
Position may require up to 25-50% travel
