The Position Ensure business success, by serving as a partner to area leader through supporting line of business by linking people strategy and performance. Support organizational culture change management to enable the development of first line leaders. Relationships Reports to Manager/Director. Essential Functions Support people managers to ensure quality & timely execution of HR processes as assigned Provide employee relations support by assisting HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Employee Relations (ER)/People & Organization (P&O) Leaders through gathering appropriate documentation to support investigations and providing performance management/employee relations guidance to managers Support individual development plan (IDP) execution and evaluation of employee opinion survey results to assist with actions plans Support people managers in workforce planning, candidate selection, exit interviews & turnover analysis Support managers & employees in the development of leadership competencies Support the new employee orientation process as required Provide onboarding support of new managers Support HRBPs with Leadership Development of first line leaders Model and teach the values of the NNWay through training and promoting diversity Execute local, corporate & global HR projects/programs effectively & efficiently Follow all safety & environmental requirements in the performance of duties Other duties as assigned Physical Requirements Ability to work in an open office environment with the possibility of frequent distraction. Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. (% can change on a case-by-case basis based on the role.) Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field from an accredited university required, or equivalent combination of education & experience May consider an Associate's degree in human resources or related field from an accredited university with three (3) years of relevant HR generalist experience required May consider a High School Degree or equivalent with five (5) years of relevant HR generalist experience required PHR or SPHR certification a plus Minimum of one (1) of relevant HR generalist experience required, preferably in a multi-shift manufacturing organization Previous experience in ramping up organizations a plus General knowledge of relevant employment law, personnel policies & procedures best practices preferred Business knowledge and understanding preferred HR IT Systems knowledge & experience preferred Ability to learn and model the Novo Nordisk Way, Values/Essentials required Ability to set direction & strategy, foster and demonstrate an innovation & continuous Improvement mindset, manage business complexity, inspire & motivate, drive Performance, collaborate across boundaries (departments/sites, etc.) and coach & develop people preferred Demonstrate expertise in effective communications (verbal, written, presentations, etc.) and ability to positively impact & influence discussions, decisions & processes preferred Analytical and project management skills preferred Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing applications in the workplace preferred Change management preferred Experience in organizational development programs execution, including workforce planning, performance management, individual development planning, staffing, problem resolution, future planning & organizational development, employee opinion survey evaluation and action plan response, etc preferred Proven expertise in organizing information & people from across the organization to develop & implement policies & programs to promote positive employee relations preferred Ability to support core processes to meet or exceed company business goals preferred We commit to an inclusive recruitment process and equality of opportunity for all our job applicants.
