Exempt Salaried Overall Responsibilities Directs and coordinates human resources activities in compliance with company philosophy, objectives, and legal requirements Partners with the Operations Manager and local leadership team Recommends and directs the installation of programs and policies that create or reinforce a positive employee relations atmosphere Participates in corporate human resources activities and teams Promotes a positive work environment and people-focused programs and processes that foster continuous development and support of the facility Leads all HR activities for the Midland site including but not limited to recruitment, engagement, compensation administration, organizational development, and labor relations Educational and Experience Requirements Degree in related field and/or minimum of ten years' progressive experience in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment Strong interpersonal skills, tact, maturity and flexibility Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience with employee relations including coaching and resolving grievances Conflict resolution skills, with the ability to gain trust and work through others to achieve goals Strong problem-solving capability Labor relations and collective bargaining experience is a plus Collaborative and energetic with the ability to prioritize and multi-task Ability to work independently and in a high-paced team environment with changing priorities Why Choose IPG?
