Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead key people operations and talent efforts for our team in North Carolina. This role supports the full employee lifecycle, from attracting candidates with relevant experience to managing onboarding activities and maintaining efficient HR administration. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, organization, and communication skills, along with the ability to balance compliance, employee support, and day-to-day HR priorities.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage job postings across approved recruiting channels to attract candidates with relevant experience and keep openings current and competitive.
  • Oversee candidate sourcing and recruitment coordination, helping move applicants efficiently through the hiring process.
  • Administer pre-employment activities such as background investigations, motor vehicle record reviews, drug testing, and other position-specific screening steps.
  • Lead onboarding logistics for new hires, ensuring required documentation, system access, and orientation tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain HR records and support core administrative processes related to employee status changes, documentation, and policy tracking.
  • Provide day-to-day workforce support by responding to employee questions, assisting managers, and helping resolve routine HR matters.
  • Partner with internal teams and customer stakeholders to meet contractor and client compliance expectations for assigned roles.
  • Support HR process improvements, including updates tied to workforce systems or operational changes, while maintaining continuity in service and compliance.
