HR & Talent Director Chick-fil-A Williston The HR & Talent Director leads the people strategy for Chick-fil-A Williston—from recruiting and onboarding to engagement, development, retention, and HR compliance. This role builds a strong team that reflects our core commitments and ensures every Team Member feels welcomed, cared for, equipped, and accountable. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract high-quality candidates. Build partnerships with schools, colleges, churches, and community organizations. Manage interviewing, hiring, onboarding, orientation, and 30-day follow-up processes. Ensure new hires are accurately entered into HR, payroll, and scheduling systems. Maintain confidential employee records and support compliance with employment policies. Lead Team Member engagement, recognition, retention, and culture-building initiatives. Support performance management, coaching, corrective action, and employee relations. Oversee training systems and partner with operational leaders to ensure Team Members are confident and prepared. Track and report talent metrics, including staffing levels, turnover, retention, onboarding completion, and employee engagement. Serve as a trusted resource for Team Members and leaders while consistently representing Chick-fil-A Williston's values. Work Experience Three or more years of experience in human resources, recruiting, talent development, leadership, or a related field preferred. Experience leading hiring and onboarding in a high-volume, fast-paced environment strongly preferred. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Restaurant, hospitality, retail, or service-industry experience is beneficial. Education Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, organizational leadership, or a related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience and relevant HR training will also be considered. Skills and Qualifications Strong interpersonal judgment, emotional intelligence, and discretion. Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills. Ability to build relationships while maintaining clear expectations and accountability. Working knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance. Comfortable managing confidential and sensitive information. Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficient with HR, payroll, scheduling, and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace systems.
