Job Description

Large manufacturing company is looking for a Human Resources Manager for their facility in central NE. Relocation is available within the Midwest. (This company does not offer sponsorship of any kind) Summary ~ The Human Resources Manager is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function. Recommends, develops and implements approved policies, procedures and programs to protect the company and employee interests in accordance with corporate HR policies and governmental laws and regulations. This will be an on-site role for a 3 shift facility. They will be leading a small HR team with several direct reports. Strong employee relations with experience across all HR functions in a manufacturing setting are needed such as payroll, benefits, recruiting, and training & development. . Bi-lingual in English/Spanish huge plus. Details ~
  • Leads the Human Resources and Environmental, Health and Safety functions in the facility to ensure a safe, secure, engaged and compliant work environment.
  • Manages employee relations function to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures and objectives are met
  • Leads recruitment effort for all levels of employees, including temporary workers and contractors conducts new employee orientations
  • Maintains and updates weekly, monthly and yearly KPI's and reporting requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws.
  • Manages annual compensation review and provides recommendations for increases according to analysis of external market data and internal equity review.
  • Oversees payroll, including auditing processes, as appropriate, for accuracy and compliance. Qualifications ~
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field & 5+ years of experience
  • Experience in the management of payroll and other human resources programs
