Human Resources Operations Manager CareWell Health - 2.7 East Orange, NJ Job Details Full-time 1 hour ago Qualifications HR change management strategy Change management support (employee development activity) Employee relations strategy Strategic workforce planning Full Job Description Job Summary To create a top-quality human resource service organization, nurture creativity from the staff, set key priorities, strengthen existing processes, and implement technological systems as well as serve as a strategic business partner to a broad range of constituents at the Hospital. Manages a variety of employee relations activities, training, and coordination of programs. Ensures a focus on aligning human resources with strategic goals to improve recruitment and retention initiatives, employee productivity and development, and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. Essential Functions Acting as liaison between management and employees, navigating employee relations issues and providing mediation support. Responds to complaints in a timely manner and makes appropriate recommendations to the VP of Human Resources. Advises managers on disciplinary action, performance problems, and performance counseling. Develops and implements HR policies and procedures, ensuring adherence across the organization. Oversees regulatory visits in collaboration with the VP of Human Resources for by gathering all requested documentation and presenting it to the auditors. Responsible for routine audits of employee files and ensuring all job descriptions are properly updated. Lead and initiate employee engagement activities across the organization to boost employee morale and support retention efforts. Oversee hospital orientation and employee training programs and be responsible for assessing and delivering training programs, specifically for educating management and patient-facing staff to strengthen customer service skills to improve the work culture and overall patient experiences. Maintains confidentiality of patient information, employee information and other confidential information covered by regulations or professional ethics. Spearhead a formalized volunteer program to support hospital operational functions to bring more visibility and opportunities to individuals in the community. Initiates and maintains partnerships and relationships with schools, community providers, and others with the goals of marketing hospital job opportunities to support recruitment efforts. Keeps abreast of adherence to employment laws and regulations and implements across the organization. Partners with leaders in collaboration with the VP of Human Resources on succession planning and high-potential talent development. Supports leaders in guidance through organizational changes and restructuring planning. Maintains and enhances professional growth and development through educational programs, workshops, and professional affiliations. Minimum Work Experience Seven years of progressive HR Generalist experience, including experience advising senior leaders. Hospital management experience preferred. Five years of extensive employee relations experience and success with navigating conflict resolution issues for employees of all levels. Strong understanding of workforce planning, employee relations, training, and development, and change management.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Full Time, 37.5 hrs.
