GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Providing support to ensure effective and efficient operation of the Human Resources department including Recruitment & Training while maintaining confidentiality and appropriate employee relations with Agency staff
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE BA
in related field or 5 years related HR experience.. Previous experience in Human Resources as a Generalist. Non-profit experience a plus. Experience in HRIS, computer software, Word, Excel, Publisher and other related programs
JOB TASKS
Implement Agency training and recruitment plans Provide Agency trainings as needed Attend and offer feedback and reporting in Training Committee Assist with the performance management system Ensure compliance with licensing, legal, and government mandates regarding employment Develop and direct programs that maintain good employee relations Act as a Super-user for HRIS systems including recruitment and learning management systems Assist with compliance as it relates to Federal and State Regulations Assist with unemployment processing and follow up as needed Ensure subordinates are properly oriented and trained within the appropriate time frames and compliant with Agency policies and licensing standards Conduct timely and thorough employee supervision meetings, documents employee performance, and employee performance appraisals Prioritizes tasks and activities and demonstrates good time-management skills Actively participates in Agency fund-raising events, committees, staff meetings, and in staff supervision Maintain high level of confidentiality Our organization is committed to diversity, equal opportunity, and affirmative action.
