Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly strategic and dynamic Human Resources Director to lead our organization's HR initiatives and foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in human resources management, demonstrating strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a comprehensive understanding of employment law and HR best practices. As the Human Resources Director, you will oversee all facets of human resources operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and values. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support organizational objectives and promote a positive work environment. Lead talent acquisition efforts through effective sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding processes to attract top talent. Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure new hires integrate smoothly into the company culture. Manage performance management systems to evaluate employee performance, facilitate feedback sessions, and support professional development initiatives. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations such as FMLA, OSHA, Workers' Compensation, EEO policies, and HR legal standards. Supervise HR teams in managing employee relations issues, conflict resolution, misconduct investigations, and disciplinary actions. Administer benefits programs including payroll processing via systems like Paychex or ADP; oversee benefits administration to maximize employee satisfaction. Drive organizational design efforts to optimize structure, streamline processes, and improve overall efficiency through process improvement initiatives. Lead HRIS (Human Resources Information System) management using platforms such as Oracle HCM or PeopleSoft for data collection, analysis, and reporting purposes. Develop succession planning strategies to ensure leadership continuity and foster talent management across departments. Skills Proven expertise in negotiation, employment & labor law compliance, and HR sourcing techniques. Extensive supervising experience with the ability to manage human resources teams effectively. Strong knowledge of HR systems including UltiPro, Kronos, Dayforce, and HRIS platforms like Oracle HCM or PeopleSoft. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior leadership and staff alike. Demonstrated proficiency in strategic planning, change management, and program management within HR functions. Skilled in conflict management, employee evaluation processes, and employee misconduct investigations. Adept at data analysis skills for workforce metrics; familiar with tools such as data collection software for analytics purposes. Experience managing employee relations programs that promote diversity, equity (EEO), inclusion initiatives, and fostering a respectful workplace environment. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations including OSHA standards. $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
