POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources (HR) / Payroll Coordinator to join our team. This position will provide temporary coverage for an FMLA leave beginning October 1 and requires someone with strong HR, payroll, and administrative experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Paycom , Human Resources, payroll, and accounts payable functions and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, in person, with occasional weekends as needed .
PURPOSE OF HUMAN RESOURCES
(HR) / PAYROLL
COORDINATOR
Assist in implementing and maintaining systems and procedures to operate the payroll office in an effective and efficient manner. Assist and support the leadership team in all employee-related areas. Maintain employee files and documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. Provide HR and payroll support during the temporary FMLA coverage period beginning October 1. Assist with accounts payable and other administrative responsibilities as needed.

COORDINATOR
Process and maintain employee payroll functions, ensuring prompt and accurate payment. Utilize Paycom for payroll and HR-related functions. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all employee information. Assist in the recruiting and interview process to obtain dependable and qualified candidates. Maintain employee files and HR documentation. Assist with onboarding and new-hire processes. Develop and implement systems to assure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. Ensure new hire and employee policies and procedures are followed. Assist with accounts payable responsibilities as needed. Support the leadership team with various HR and administrative functions. Assist with employee-related questions, documentation, and general HR needs.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR HUMAN RESOURCES
(HR) / PAYROLL
COORDINATOR
Previous Human Resources and payroll experience required. Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience required. Experience with Paycom strongly preferred. Experience with accounts payable preferred. High School Graduate; some college preferred. Ability to read and write English. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions. Must function independently, exhibit flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel, families, and support agencies. Demonstrates competence in leadership, tactful interpersonal communication, and problem-solving. Familiarity with Federal, State, and OSHA regulations and requirements. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information. Must be available to work Monday-Friday in person, with occasional weekends as needed .
